These rustic mirrors are individually handmade to a high standard of craftsmanship by Tony Hinde. His country workshop and studio can be found south of Nairn in the Scottish Highlands.

The Wood

Tony searches wild and remote areas of Highland Scotland to carefully select both timeworn rustic wood and driftwood that have lain weathering outside in the elements for many years. This aged and interesting wood is used to create wonderful mirror frames that cannot fail to enhance and beautify your home. As each mirror frame is individually and professionally handmade from specially selected natural wood, the end result is always a unique piece of furniture that will be distinctive and decorative.

Pine, Larch, Elm Burr, Yew, Beech, Cherry, Juniper.

Tony also works with different types of indigenous woods such as the beautiful native burr wood creating classic and modern mirror frame designs.

If you would like a mirror handmade from a particular type of wood please ask and we will hope to have it available.
